24.OctSite Update and Trip to Bohol

Hello Frugal Pinoy readers :)  I apologize that I haven’t blogged here in the past week - I’ve just been busy with work.  I got sick and there was a HUGE backlog of things to do.  On top of that, I need to do some work in advance because I’m traveling during the first week of November.  I’m going to….

Bohol!  And Cebu!

If you have any tips on places to visit, things to see, or food to eat, then please let me know in the comments section.   Especially if it’s something out of the ordinary and not found in typical tours.

Don’t worry, I’ll review some frugal accomodations, food, and activities while I’m there.  I’ll be sure to include them in this blog.

I’ll be back with a fresh post next week. :)

    Hi Celine,

I always enjoy reading your blog posts here and on your other sites. Keep up your good work, its very much appreciated!

Even though I’ve never been to Philippines, I guess it must be a nice destination for vacation. Hope you have a great time at Bohol. Maybe you can make a video like Christine Gambito did: http://www.happyslip.com/2008/03/21/experience-philippines-ep-2-lets-dance-in-bohol/

    ;)

Hi Frank! Thanks for leaving a note. :) I appreciate your comments.

The video sounds like a good idea :) I’ll see what I can do.

Bohol Beach Club was one of my favorite spots, I’m pretty sure you don’t need to be staying there to swim there (not sure either if there was an entrance fee). Of course, if you’re going to Bohol, you can’t not go to Chocolate Hills. Truly a magnificent sight. :)

I suggest bohol beach club too, it’s a great place to stay in. Chocolate Hills is one of my favorite as in favorite place to visit in Bohol. It’s really really amazing. tapos you can also visit the blood compact site, and dont forget to eat at the floating restaurant. yung kumakanta dun ang ganda ng boses and ang ganda ng view kapag kumakain ka , sarap ng simoy ng hangin. And of course, yung mga Tarsiers , the smallest mammal in the world, ang cute cute nila as in.

Thanks for the tips. Going to the Chocolate Hills and seeing the tarsiers are really part of the plan. In fact, I want to check out the activity at the Tarsier Sanctuary called the “Tarsier Trail”. It should be interesting seeing them in their natural habitat.
